WHAT IS UNDER?
The Under concept is an outdoor dance event that rivals any UK production of its size. We bring the world’s best DJs to Peterborough, as well as priding ourselves on ensuring local DJs and producers have a platform to perform. Artists such as MAUR, Alisha, C.O.Z, Volaris, Micah Baxter, ADR and Roobinz have all played their first gigs at Mixology and have since gone on to be recognised nationally and internationally.

 

MIXOLOGY

For the past decade, we at Mixology have built an electronic music promotion which is one of the most revered in the East of England, attracting world class DJs to headline every month in Peterborough.

 

Previous headline artists include the Brit Awards nominated duo Bicep, Michael Bibi, Patrick Topping, Kink (Live), Solardo, Skream, Matthias Tanzmann, Tensnake, Franky Wah, as well as BBC Radio One DJs B.Traits and Danny Howard.

 

During the past 11 years we have curated in excess of one hundred events that have been regularly featured in local and national press (The Guardian, Mixmag, BBC Radio Cambridgeshire & BBC Radio One) including the spectacular 1,200 attended Mixology Warehouse event at Peterborough Arena, which is still reminisced by Peterboroughians as one of the best events hosted in the city.

 

 

LAST ENTRY TIME

Your type of ticket will state your last entry time to the event. Saturday 4th May, Sunday 5th May, Saturday 15th June 2024 general entry tickets vary between 2pm, 3pm, & 4pm last entry. VIP Ticket holder can enter until 6pm. Doors will close at 6pm and there will be no entry after 6pm under any circumstances. Please check your ticket for last entry times. Tickets purchased from other outlets except this site has a final entry time of 4pm.

On Friday 3rd May 2024 general entry tickets vary between 6pm, 7pm & 8pm last entry. VIP Ticket holder can enter until 9pm. Doors will close at 6pm and there will be no entry after 6pm under any circumstances. Please check your ticket for last entry times. Tickets purchased from other outlets except this site has a final entry time of 8pm.

On Sunday 16th June 2024 general entry tickets vary between 5pm, & 6pm last entry. VIP Ticket holder can enter until 7pm. Doors will close at 7pm and there will be no entry after 7pm under any circumstances. Please check your ticket for last entry times. Tickets purchased from other outlets except this site has a final entry time of 6pm.

 

 

CAN I BUY TICKETS AT THE DOOR?

There will be no ticket sales at the door. If you haven't purchased your ticket in advance you will not be able to buy tickets at the door.

IDENTIFICATION

This is an 'over 18 year olds only' event! No ID No Entry. Please ensure you bring valid proof of ID on entrance with your ticket. This event is strictly over 18s only. Valid identification is as follows: Passport (must be in-date) / Driving License / Home Office accredited proof of age ID card / National ID card (must display pass hologram).

 

Partnering with Nene Park once more, UNDER is situated in idyllic, unique surroundings that juxtapose the concrete, industrial wasteland and the beautiful, scenic landscapes in the distance of the River Nene and Nene Park itself.

Under is located beneath the Nene Parkway Flyover – Orton Mere, Peterborough. For Sat Nav & detailed location information please read below.
 

ACCESS / LOCATION / SAT NAV
Drop off point for UNDER is Orton Lock Car Park located at Orton Mere, Peterborough (please use the car park name (Orton Lock Car Park) for SAT NAV, not the postcode). The access will be through Oundle Road Orton Mere turn, Peterborough. The event is a 3 minute walk from the car park. Stewards & signage will be in place to direct you to the entrance. We do not recommend using the Boathouse / Rowing Club side for accessing or leaving the event.
 

PARKING
Besides Orton Lock Car Park, we will also have the Orton Mere Station Car Park in use for this event only. Both car parks are located at Orton Mere, Peterborough (please don’t use the postcode for sat nav, use car park name). Both car parks will be available with fees. We encourage using public transport / lifts / taxis. Parking charges are in place with the option to pay at a pay machine or via an app. Car parks are managed by Nene Park Trust and all parking fees go towards supporting the work of the Trust. Under is located 7 minutes from Peterborough Train Station

Direct Train from London Kings Cross to Peterborough is 47 minutes
Direct Train from Cambridge to Peterborough is 49 minutes
Direct Train from Leicester to Peterborough is 56 minutes
Direct Train from Lincoln to Peterborough is 58 minutes
Direct Train from Nottingham to Peterborough is 60 minutes
Direct Train from Leeds to Peterborough is 1 hour 23 minutes
Direct Train from Norwich to Peterborough is 1 hour 27 minutes
Direct Train from Birmingham to Peterborough is 1 hour 45 minutes

Under is located less than 10 minutes from all major hotels in Peterborough. If booked in advance, you can get a double room for under £44 per night:

 

DISABILITY ACCESS
Orton Lock Car Park has Disabled Parking spots and we have disabled toilet available at the event site.
 

ENTERING & EXITING THE EVENT
There is no readmission to the event once you leave.

FOOD & DRINK
There will be a fully stocked licensed bar serving alcohol and soft drinks as well as food vendors selling a variety of hot and cold snacks on site. No food or drink can be brought in to the venue and will be confiscated upon entry. This includes empty bottles / containers. No food or drink can be taken out of the venue either.
 

SHOP 

You will be able to purchase our brand new Under t-shirt range, bucket hats, fans and lot more from our shop. Stocks are limited. 

 

CAN I SWIM IN THE LOCK?

There is a strict NO SWIMMING POLICY. Anyone attending the event who enters the water will be refused entry to Mixology UNDER and will be barred from all future Mixology events.


CASH & CARD PAYMENTS

Cash and/or card can be used on site to purchase tokens for use at the entry, at the bar and food vendors. Any unused / unwanted tokens cannot be exchanged or refunded so please purchase only what you intend  to consume.

TOILETS

Mobile toilets, urinals & disabled toilet will be available on site.

 

 

CCTV

CCTV cameras and body cameras will be in use throughout the event as per the licensing requirement.

 

 

ZERO TOLERANCE DRUG POLICY

There is a strict ZERO tolerance drugs policy. Anyone found in possession of illegal substances or contraband goods will be refused admission, ejected from the venue and may be liable for prosecution.


CLOAKROOM / HANGERS

We do not have cloakroom or hanger facilities. Please read the prohibited items list below before you head down to the event site.

We will always refund the face value of your tickets in the case of event cancellation. Tickets for postponed events will be automatically transferred to the new date. Should the event be postponed, refunds are available on request should you be unable to make the new date. No refunds will be offered should the event go ahead as planned. Booking fees are generally non-refundable and will be determined by the ticket agent you have purchased from. UNDER is a Mixology event. All Mixology T&C’s will apply to the Under event.
